Missoula Gives Adds a 2023 Twist: Videos!

Missoula is a generous place. We’re not saying that to brag or make anecdotal statements. At an astounding 219, Missoula has the fourth most nonprofit organizations in the nation per capita.

So Missoula Gives is basically like a holiday for our altruistic little town. During the 26-hour event, the community turns its attention to the organizations that play a significant role in the health, vibrancy, and culture of Missoula and the Bitterroot Valley.

Organizers wanted to take the celebration one step further in 2023, so they introduced the Missoula Gives & Bitterroot Gives 30-Second Ad Challenge.

Some fo the 180 participating nonprofits for 2023 submitted videos to share the stories and mission of their organization. Each day between April 14 and 26, voters can select their favorite video. The winning videos will air on KPAX Television the week of May 1-6, leading up to giving day on May 4-5.

We loved viewing the 25 videos submitted, learning more about some of our favorite nonprofits and being introduced to new ones. This opportunity helps the organizations share the important work they are doing to make Western Montana a vibrant and resilient place to live.

Take a minute to view these wonderful 30-second ads and vote for your favorite

But there’s some rules::

  • YOU CAN ONLY VOTE ONCE PER DAY

  • If you vote for the same nonprofit twice, the second vote will cancel out your first vote

  • you can vote every day between April 14-28

Make sure to vote and then show your support of these nonprofits by making a donation to them at MissoulaGives.org
