Be Calm on Ahway Island
Featuring a guided mediation followed by a story, these 15-25 minutes episodes are the perfect way to fall asleep. The meditation portion is tailored to kids by encouraging them take “deep dragon breaths” and calm their bodies down. Meanwhile, each story is read in a slow, soothing tone, with relaxing instrumental music. Don’t be surprised if you can’t keep your eyes open either.

Bedtime Explorers
Another guided meditation podcast for little ones. We love Bedtime Explorers because not only are the episodes short, the breathing and mindfulness portion at the beginning is really subtle, so kids don’t eve notice that they are beginning to relax. Wow in the World
From NPR, each weekly episode takes curious kids and their parents on journey to explore science and technology topics. Perfect for a quick drive in the car, each episode is roughly 30 minutes and kids will love learning about things like exploding ants, dinosaurs with dandruff, and how recess can make them smarter! Great for Elementary Aged through Middle School

Story Pirates
Performed as part sketch comedy, part musical theatre, these stories written by kids are adapted and turned into half hour shows that are funny and engaging.  Although we recommend for elementary aged kids, any age will find these episodes entertaining.

Stories Podcast
This podcast is great for bedtime AND playtime. The narrator does a wonderful job of performing and is very engaging.  The stories are fun and include classic stories and fairytales alike. Great for any age.
